Enric Masip, ex-Barcelona handball player, announced yesterday that he would be presenting his candidacy as president of the Catalan club in the next elections. Many see him as the best player in the history of Spanish handball. He played 205 games, and scored 656 goals for his national team.
"I want to present myself as I would really love, with nobody standing behind me, to serve the club of my life. Fresh air is needed. I am hurt, resentful, and feel unfairly treated by how I had to leave Barcelona. It wasn't necessary to treat me like that, but it was something personal", he said on Cadena SER's radio programme 'La Gradería'.
