Man United Prepare Astonishing Bid for Andres Iniesta

Old Trafford side linked with Nou Camp raid of epic proportions.

Man United boss David Moyes is said to be readying an astonishing move for Barcelona midfielder Andre Iniesta according to Sports Direct News. The 29 year old Spanish international has rejected a new deal offered by the Catalan giants and this has led to speculation that the one club man could consider a move away from the Nou Camp due to the wage offer made by Barcelona and this has led to interest from the Premier League title holders.

Moyes failed to win the race to sign Thiago Alcantara, who opted to join Bayern Munich, as well as his pursuit of Cesc Fabregas and though the former Everton boss did land Belgian Marouane Fellaini he is still keen to bring in further reinforcements.

Iniesta is rightly considered one of the most talented creative midfielders in European football and should he decide to leave Barcelona then there will be no shortage of offers for his services.

Andre Iniesta has made 463 appearances for Barcelona and has 90 national team caps to his name and has won a host of honours including a World Cup, two European Championship winners medals and six La Liga crowns and three Champions League wins to boot.

Barcelona far from perfect - Martino

The Blaugrana coach says there is a lot to improve regarding his men's display on the pitch, while he feels Neymar has adapted quickly since his arrival in Spain

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino believes his side are "not close to perfection", despite their five-match winning streak in La Liga this term.

The Blaugrana thrashed Rayo Vallecano 4-0 on Saturday, but lost the battle for possession for the first time in 317 competitive games.

And the Argentine coach is not satisfied with his side's display on the pitch, calling from improvement in the coming encounters.

"We have perfection in points, but we are not close to perfection in the game and it is clear that we have many things to improve," the 50-year-old told Sport.

"What we saw in the second half against Ajax and Rayo I would build up upon and I think we're on the right track.

"The players feel increasingly more comfortable and will continue to improve. "

Youngster Neymar assisted Pedro's second of three goals on Saturday, and the coach is pleased with his performances since arriving at the club this summer.

"Very happy with his work and we should not forget that he had a difficult season with the Confederations Cup.

"He had a whooping arrival. We're very pleased with what Neymar is offering so far."

Cruyff: Messi-Neymar partnership will not work for Barcelona

The Blaugrana legend believes the Brazilian does not have the required work-rate boasted by fellow wingers Pedro and Cristian Tello

Johan Cruyff expects Neymar to continue to struggle alongside Lionel Messi in the Barcelona starting XI.

Cruyff: Messi-Neymar partnership will not work for Barcelona
The Brazil star extended his scoreless run in La Liga to five games in the 4-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, and Cruyff - who had previously suggested Messi should be sold to accommodate Neymar - believes the 21-year-old's poor work-rate leaves the team too unbalanced when the Argentine is also playing.

"I never said that Neymar was a bad player. The question is how he [Neymar] fits into the team," the 66-year-old told Globoesporte.

"Neymar and Messi are two attacking players, but that means there’ll be one less player doing the defensive work. That could be a problem.

"Barcelona have a style of play in which the players on the wing have to work hard; however, Neymar isn’t a work-horse like Pedro or [Cristian] Tello."

Neymar's headed goal against Atletico Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana remains his only competitive strike for Barcelona since his €57 million move this summer.
